Martin Brown

We got Martin to write a little blog for us , so you can get to know a little about the man before the event .

I was born in 1953, and had my first spliff in 1968. Since then, Cannabis has been a major part of my life, just as I knew it would be that first time I got high. I’ve used it in all its various formats down the years; I’ve also bought it, sold it, smuggled it, grown it and been busted and sent down for it.

I’m a retired Church of England Vicar and have a degenerative spinal disease (which causes chronic pain), arthritis, and Parkinson’s disease.

My time is largely taken up with promoting Cannabis awareness, lifting the stigma of Cannabis use and helping folk understand the many ways in which this marvellous plant can be utilised.

I believe the time has come for full decriminalisation and the normalisation of Cannabis in everyday life.

I am excited to be involved with PCB’s upcoming festival and look forward to meeting many new friends there.
